A symbol of faith used to deceive those that simply believe such a thing to mean something.

Ancient Property (I): When spending a healing surge to heal, regain additional hit points equal to twice the enhancement bonus of the item.
Ancient Property (I): At the end of the encounter or 5 minutes after using a healing property of this item, any individual that received healing as a result of usage of this item takes damage equal to the healing done.
Ancient Property (I): Healing Surge, Minor (Encounter): Negate the damage done as a result of the above property from one use of this item or all uses of the initial property.
Ancient Property (I): Minor (At Will): One willing ally within 5 squares loses a healing surge and the user regains hit points as if he had spent the surge.
Ancient Property (I): Healing Surge, Minor (At Will): One willing ally within 5 squares loses a healing surge and a target touched by the user regains hit points as if he had spent the surge.
Ancient Property (II): Gain the use of the Encounter power: Wonderful Counselor.
Ancient Property (III): Gain the use of the Daily power: Homily of Deception.

The Blessing of the Deceiver is a powerful healing act, just not for the recipient.

Attack: Charisma or Wisdom vs. Will
Hit: The target losses a healing surge, you gain a healing surge (this can exceed your maximum by up to half your level, extra surges are lost after an extended rest).
Critical Hit: If the target has more than one surge, the attack transfers up to 1d4 additional surges (total surges transferred cannot exceed the target’s total). You may choose not to take these extra surges.
Special: If the hit transfers only one surge and the attack roll exceeded the target’s Will defense by 5 or more (or is a critical but takes only one surge), the target is unaware of the attack. Targets are not aware of a missed attack, but are always aware if the attack is missed when the player rolls a 1 on the attack roll. No powers or effects can allow multiple dice rolls or re-rolls when using this power. The attack must use the wielder’s hand (bare or covered), it cannot pass through an item or weapon, but does receive the attack bonus from the Deceiver’s Holy Symbol enhancement regardless of whether or not the holy symbol is an implement for the user.

Special: Targets are not aware that they have been attacked when this power is used.
Special: Temporary hit points gained in this way are not lost after an extended rest.
Sustain (Minor): Target continues to be engaged.
Sustain (Minor, Healing Surge): Target continues to be engaged and the hit effect is applied again.
Special: Temporary hit points gained during the sustain action stack with existing temporary hit points.
Engaged for 5 Minutes: Target permanently loses a healing surge. User gains one temporary healing surge. There is no limit to the number of temporary healing surges the user can accumulate.
Special: Temporary healing surges are lost after an extended rest.
Special: A target that loses a healing surge must make a death saving throw once every 24 hours for 7 days. If they fail one the feel ill but can still function. If they fail two they are bed ridden. If they fail three they die.
